Ask Aletheia

Aletheia can answer questions about your infrastructure in plain language. It reads the same data you can see, and it shows its work.

Ask about your inventory, ownership, mapping, dependencies, or change history the way you would ask a colleague. Aletheia answers by running the same read-only queries the product uses, then explains what it found.

Every answer carries citations back to the specific records behind it. The content of an answer is built from the query results themselves rather than composed freely, so a claim in an answer traces to a record you can open and check.

If Aletheia cannot support a statement with a record, it says so rather than guessing. An answer with no evidence behind it is a bug, not a feature.
  • It is read-only. It cannot create, modify, or delete anything, in Aletheia or in AWS.
  • It has no AWS access of its own. It reads what discovery already collected.
  • It stays inside your organization. It cannot see another tenant’s data.

The assistant can be enabled or disabled for your organization. Every conversation and every question is recorded in an audit log, so you can see what was asked and answered.
