Ask Aletheia
Aletheia can answer questions about your infrastructure in plain language. It reads the same data you can see, and it shows its work.
What it can do
Section titled “What it can do”Ask about your inventory, ownership, mapping, dependencies, or change history the way you would ask a colleague. Aletheia answers by running the same read-only queries the product uses, then explains what it found.
Evidence, not assertion
Section titled “Evidence, not assertion”Every answer carries citations back to the specific records behind it. The content of an answer is built from the query results themselves rather than composed freely, so a claim in an answer traces to a record you can open and check.
What it will not do
Section titled “What it will not do”- It is read-only. It cannot create, modify, or delete anything, in Aletheia or in AWS.
- It has no AWS access of its own. It reads what discovery already collected.
- It stays inside your organization. It cannot see another tenant’s data.
Administration
Section titled “Administration”The assistant can be enabled or disabled for your organization. Every conversation and every question is recorded in an audit log, so you can see what was asked and answered.
In this section
Section titled “In this section”- What you can ask — the queries behind the answers.
- How answers cite evidence — citations, confidence, and freshness.
- What the assistant will not do — the operating boundaries.
- Enabling and disabling the assistant — the organization setting.
- AI audit log — every question and every query it ran.
